RECENT NEWS: 
June 2, 2008 - Lost Boys hosts guest speaker John Gajdecki, VFX Supervisor/Producer for over 17 years. (Stargate SG1, A Wrinkle in Time, I Robot...) John shared his experience and brought along many before and after clips of VFX Shots ranging from complex full CG creatures/environments to deceptively complex wire removal shots. 
May 29, 2008 - Our annual 24 Hour VFX Short Film project commences! This year we raised the bar with 7 unique locations ranging from snowy alpine meadows to sandy beaches. Stay tuned for the official releases! 
April 30, 2008 - A Lost Boy from class one, Patrick Switzer, makes it to the big league and is interviewed at ZBrush Central about his career as a Character Artist at Pendulum Studios. Read the article HERE. 
Feb 29, 2008 - We set out on another Studio Tour and this time visited Technicolor, Moving Picture Company (MPC), Artifex, Radical and Anthem Visual Effects. (more) 
Jan 30, 2008 - Scott Dewis of Race Rocks Digital (Cloverfield, Lost, Smallville) visits us as a guest artist. Scott shared his story as well as presented a workshop on advanced creature rigging techniques. (more) 
Jan 16, 2008 - Expert Recruiter and CG Production Manager Barbera Dawson, of CG Scout visits us as a guest speaker. She shared enlightening information for sucessfully transitioning from student to professional in the field of VFX. (more) 
Jan 7, 2008 - Gregory Marquette; Executive Producer, Director, Cinematographer and Screenwriter once again visits the Lost Boys crew as a guest speaker with stories of filmmaking in Los Angeles and worldwide. (more)
