  • VFX Community - Vancouvers Visual Effects Forum dedicated to photo-realistic 3D and Compositing. A good focussed resource on Vancouvers Visual Effects Industry.

  • VFX Talk - Dedicated to digital compositing, 3D animation and visual effects. A good broad resource for VFX related topics.

  • fxguide - Like VFX Talk this is a great site for VFX specific content. Excellent articles as well as detailed looks at new techniques.

  • CG Society - Covers everything related to computer graphics. Not as focused as VFXTalk but still a massive resource due to its huge membership.

  • VFX World - Excellent articles about recent VFX films and tools.

*This list should be considered a work in progress. Every year it gets refined more as we come across new studios in our Industry Studies sessions. We've been compiling a master list to assist our students with their job hunting and have decided to share it through our site. As time permits we will try to expand the territories and perhaps even add short descriptions. If you wish to contribute to this project, please feel free to email us with your suggestions, specifically about studios outside of North America. Please try to keep this relative, let's limit this to studios actively involved in VFX Production.
